All About Me!

I'm a good girl. I like treats and taking long walks. Mostly I like to be off-leash, but I'm not picky.

The American Kennel Club calls me an Airedale Terrier, but I think of myself as a Black and Tan Terrier. My ancestors were war dogs for the Anglo-Saxons, but I'm a nice girl. I like all people and all dogs; I'm even friendly to dogs that don't like me. Sometimes I get too friendly and jump up, my master hates it, but I can't control myself.

In my pack, we use nautical ranks because my master wants to be a sailor. He calls himself pack captain, and calls me the first mate. I try real hard to be a good first mate; always making sure he gets up early, keeping strangers out of the yard, doing all my tricks and keeping the floors clean of any dropped food.

My name is Dixie, but I like to be called Babysan best because I'm just a puppy, but I want to grow up to be a Samurai. Sometimes, I'm also called "Dixie-Bear", "Goose" or "Beast".
